About these terms

These terms and conditions apply to all services offered by World of Heart, operated by me, Jess Rose (ABN: 37 152 186 128). By booking a session, registering for a gathering or workshop, or purchasing any service from World of Heart, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

My services

World of Heart offers holistic somatic healing sessions (Bodylove Ceremony), facilitated community gatherings, workshops, workshop series, and retreats. All services are offered by me, Jess Rose, qualified massage therapist and holistic facilitator.

My services are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. They are holistic wellbeing experiences intended to support your overall health and connection to self. If you are currently receiving support from a healthcare professional, I recommend informing them that you are undertaking bodywork or somatic healing work.

Bookings & confirmation

All bookings are made via my online booking link. A booking is not confirmed until a non-refundable deposit has been received. You will receive deposit payment details by email within 24 hours of your booking request.

Your booking is confirmed once I send you a written confirmation email. Please do not consider your session confirmed until you have received this from me.

Deposits & payment

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all 1:1 session bookings. The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of booking. The remaining session balance is due on arrival via cash or PayID.

The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances. If you need to cancel your session, the deposit cannot be returned. If you need to reschedule, please see my rescheduling policy below.

Cancellations & rescheduling

Cancellations with more than 48 hours notice: Your deposit cannot be refunded but may be transferred to a rescheduled session at my discretion.

Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice: The full session fee (if paid) and the deposit is forfeited. I am unable to offer transfers or refunds for late cancellations as this time has been held exclusively for you.

No-shows: If you do not attend your session without notice, the full session fee (if paid) is forfeited and the deposit is not transferable.

Rescheduling: I ask for at least 48 hours notice to reschedule. I will always do my best to find a new time that works for you. Sessions may be rescheduled once only.

Late arrivals

Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled session time. If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time. I am unable to extend sessions due to late arrival as this affects my own preparation and other clients. The full session fee applies regardless of arrival time.

Workshops, gatherings & retreats

Payment for workshops, gatherings, and retreats is required at the time of registration unless otherwise stated. Refunds are available if cancellation is made more than 7 days before the event. Cancellations within 7 days of the event are non-refundable. In the unlikely event that I need to cancel a workshop or retreat, a full refund will be issued.

Consent & your responsibility

By booking a session you confirm that you have disclosed any physical health conditions, injuries, medications, or relevant personal history in your intake form. You understand that it is your responsibility to keep this information current and to inform me of any changes before your session.

You consent to receiving hands-on bodywork and energy healing as part of your session, and understand that you may withdraw or adjust this consent at any point. You understand that somatic and energetic healing work may bring up unexpected emotions or physical sensations, and you take personal responsibility for your own wellbeing before, during, and after your session.

Confidentiality

Everything shared within a 1:1 session is held in complete confidence by me. In group settings, all participants are asked to uphold confidentiality as part of the group agreements — what is shared in the circle stays in the circle. I cannot be held responsible for the conduct of other participants in group settings.

Limitation of liability

I am not liable for any loss, injury, or adverse outcome arising from participation in my services, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Australian consumer law. My services are provided in good faith by a qualified and insured practitioner, and I always act with the highest duty of care.

Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
